Grand Ave in Des Moines, IA where there will be a rally with small speeches about the importance for an Immigration reform. #3  Downtown Farmers’ Market

Opening day is Saturday May 1, 2021

Downtown Des Moines’ Historic Court District, IA.  

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by going to the farmer’s market to get the freshest produce for tastiest salsas. This year Downtown Farmers’ Market starts the season on May 1 and it will be in person. Safety guidelines will be observed. Mask and social distancing will be required for attendees and vendors. The market will be scaled down. There will be fresh produce and farm and artisan packaged foods.

#5 Get Vaccinated at the Knock and Drop Vaccination Clinic

Come out and get your COVID vaccine to start Cinco de Mayo celebration in a safe way.  There will be a vaccine clinic on May 5 for the first dosage of the Pfizer vaccine. The appointments for this day are between 9 Am and 12 PM and they just added more appointments for that afternoon.
