Encourages community members to take advantage of local health care resources
Muscatine, IA. – UnityPoint Health® – Trinity Muscatine is once again sponsoring its annual Community Health Fair on Wednesday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fair will be held at Muscatine Mall, 1903 Park Avenue, Muscatine.
Representatives from UnityPoint Health® – Trinity Heart Center, Human Resources, Muscatine Sleep Center, Robert Young Center for Community Mental Health, New Horizons, UnityPoint Clinic®, UnityPoint at Home, UnityPoint Hospice and many other service areas will be on-hand to answer questions regarding available health care resources.
The event will showcase health care and wellness organizations, service groups and businesses. Interactive demonstrations will be available in addition to various health and wellness screenings and information.
Some booth highlights include:
FREE kids bike helmets and bike safety demonstrations by Melon City Bike Club from 2-4 p.m., for children aged 6-12
Blood typing by Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center
Healthy meal preparation demonstrations
Fitness demonstrations
Blood pressure checks
Car seat safety checks by Muscatine Fire Department
The Trinity Muscatine Community Health Fair is open to the public at no charge.
