Latinos Unidos of Iowa is presenting their 2017 Spring Fundraiser

Latinos Unidos of Iowa is presenting their 2017 Spring Fundraiser, La Primavera at Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The fundraiser provides scholarships to Latino Students studying at Iowa colleges or universities.  This year they will have 10 Latino students graduating from DMACC, Iowa State, Iowa University, Central, etc.

Latinos Unidos of Iowa, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, cordially invites you and your families to attend our annual “La Primavera” event! Current members, volunteers, sponsors, and community leaders will come together to support a silent auction to raise funds for scholarships awarded to Latino students attending Iowa colleges and universities.
The event will feature traditional Salvadorian food prepared by volunteers and board members as well as door prizes give away! We are serving 3 types of Pupusas (pork, bean and cheese) with a Salvadorian pastry and drinks are included.The menu includes 3 kinds of Papusas (Chicharon, cheese and bean) rice and beans and a Salvadorian pastry with beverage included.

If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to the organization to support educational opportunities for Latino students.

Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall is located at 1627 Grand Ave, Handicap Accessible the event is from 6:00 pm to 8:30pm the tickets are:

Los Niños del Tepeyac will be our entertainment for the evening.
