What might you find at the Picker’s Paradise? Can it be one of a kind, made just for you pair of earrings or an antique china plate with a rare design on it? Whatever it might be, you sure will have fun searching for your treasures at Picker’s Paradise on June 10, 2017 from 8 AM to 3 PM in downtown East Moline.
Picker’s Paradise is an event where anyone can sell antiques, crafts, direct sell or resell just about anything. This is not the first time downtown East Moline was turned into an open market full of treasures.
“We have had it before in various appearances but are bringing back the way it used to be done,” Patricia Hansen, one of the organizers, said.
Hansen added that everyone is welcome to sell their treasures.
Since this is a family event, besides numerous sales transactions, there will be a lot more going during Picker’s Paradise. She Z Studio will be performing Zumba and Fitness demonstration. Dancers from Dance Connection will show off their best moves and expect great demonstration by Nyquist Roundhouse Martial Arts. A DJ will spin the tunes during demonstrations as well. And of course, since it is more than shopping trip for adults, kids will be delighted to participate in a variety of kids’ activities. Also, some community service organizations will be on site to answer questions and provide important information to participants of this event.
