On April of this year Ecuador was hit by a massive earthquake. Buildings were destroyed, many people were injured and a lot were killed by this natural disaster. In order to help the people of Ecuador with surviving the aftermath of the disaster you can come to the Festival Fundraiser “We Are All Ecuador” that will take place on May 15 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at El Merengueros located at 900 East Army Post Road in Des Moines, IA.
The money collected during this event will be donated to the Greater Iowa American Red Cross. They in turn will send the money to La Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana and it will be used to help the living victims of the earthquake. Many artists and vendors came together for this event.
A percentage of bar sales will also be donated. If you wish to make a donation please visit Veridian Credit Union before May 17, 2016 and deposit your donation to account # 831770, on May 18 all the funds from this account will be transferred to the American Red Cross.
The following artists will provide musical entertainment for the night: DJ Scandalous, Parranderos Latin Combo, Inesperable Banda Perla del Sur, and LEGO Norteño.
