DYERSVILLE, Iowa — Velocity Music Festival starts Friday, Sept. 4, at the Field of Dreams Movie Site. The three-day festival will bring rock, country and alternative music to Dyersville through Sunday, Sept. 6.
Shinedown headlines Friday, Carrie Underwood takes the stage Saturday and Creed closes the festival Sunday. Single-day general admission currently costs $109.99 per person plus a 6.5% booking fee. Meanwhile, a three-day general admission pass costs $298.20 with the booking fee included.
Drivers also need to buy parking before arriving. Daily parking costs $35 plus a 6.5% booking fee. A three-day parking pass costs $80 plus the fee. Parking lots open at 10 a.m. each day.
The festival has already sold out several VIP and discounted ticket categories. However, it still lists general admission tickets for individual festival days as of Sept. 3.

Shinedown will headline the opening day Friday, Sept. 4. Lynyrd Skynyrd and several other acts will also perform.

Carrie Underwood takes over the headline spot Saturday, Sept. 5. In addition, the day’s lineup includes Collective Soul, Maggie Rose and several other rock and country acts.

Creed closes Velocity Music Festival on Sunday
Creed will headline the final day Sunday, Sept. 6. Skillet, Nate Smith and Filter are also part of Sunday’s lineup.

Single-day general admission costs $109.99 plus fees
Single-day general admission for Friday, Saturday or Sunday currently costs $109.99 per person plus a 6.5% booking fee.
Fans who plan to attend all three days can buy a general admission pass for $298.20 per person with the booking fee included.
However, ticket options are becoming more limited. The festival has sold out some VIP, presale and discounted categories. Availability for the remaining tickets can also change before the gates open.

Parking costs $35 per day and requires advance purchase
People driving to the Field of Dreams need a prepaid parking pass. The festival does not offer parking purchases at the entrance.

The festival does not provide shuttle service. Instead, visitors can use rideshare services available in the area. However, the designated pickup and drop-off point sits about a half-mile from the festival entrance.
Festival passes include access to the Field of Dreams movie site
Each festival pass also includes access to the Field of Dreams movie site field. However, visitors need to see the field before they enter the festival grounds because the festival does not allow re-entry.
The event welcomes all ages. Still, every attendee needs a full-price festival pass, regardless of age. The property also prohibits tailgating.
Attendees can bring folding chairs for designated areas, non-aerosol sunscreen and one factory-sealed bottle of water up to 20 ounces. However, the festival prohibits coolers, outside food, drones, fireworks and weapons.
