Quad Cities offers many great attractions, but probably the most magical one is the Festival of Trees. Quad Cities Arts, nonprofit arts organization, started this tradition in 1986. It is an annual fund raiser that provides funds for arts programs and support for the residents of six counties in Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. The organizers assure that the Festival of Trees is “recognized as one of the top events of its kind in North America.” Since the first year this event raised a few million dollars to support local artists. The Festival of Trees is the biggest attraction in Quad Cities area.
