The Arc has increasingly been focusing services towards competitive integrated employment and was selected by the Institute for Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts Boston to study the experience of providers participating in a community of practice called the Provider Transformation Network.  By participating in the study and using the Agency Change Toolkit, The Arc hopes to improve employment outcomes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arc participates in National Disability Awareness Month every October to raise awareness that different abilities and perspectives can be a positive factor in any workforce’s success. The Arc is committed to the success of people with disabilities in the workforce. We know that a workforce that empowers all is good for everyone.
