Jose Torres, 63, of Moline, IL, passed away, November 5, 2023, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3209 60th St, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline, with a rosary to be recited at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be on Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Moline. After the funeral and burial on Saturday, family and friends are invited to gather for lunch. Memorials may be given to the family.
Jose was born on July 12, 1960, in San Nicolas, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Consuelo (Trigueros) and Luis Torres. Jose played soccer and he loved to watch and help coach as well. He loved being outside, you could always find him hanging out with his friends in the garage. Jose always had the best time being with his family.
Survivors include his children Jose (Leanne) Torres, Mario Magadan, Ceacy (Derek) Wearmouth, and Jazmin Torres; grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Lexys, Alex, Jose, and Eleana; great-grandchildren Chase, Isla, Quinley, and Lux; siblings Antonio Torres, Alfredo (Lulu) Torres, Camilo (Cheryl) Torres, Lupe (Gustavo) Cruz; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Consuelo and Luis, and beloved brother Luis Torres.
