The Quad-Cities will have three teams of hard-working young men and women representing the state of Iowa in upcoming national and international soccer tournaments!

The Quad City Strikers Soccer Club’s U14 and U13 boys teams, and their U16 girls team, all won their respective divisions in the state’s Presidents Cup tournaments and as such will represent the state of Iowa playing against other top-ranked teams from around the country at the Midwest Regional Presidents Cup competition, June 16-20 in St. Louis, Mo.

Quad City Strikers U14 boys, U13 boys and U16 girls are each the #1 ranked soccer teams in their respective divisions in Iowa. The teams are positive, ambitious groups of great young men and women who have been working hard to achieve their goals! The teams set a positive example in their schools and community, practice daily, and are dedicated to teamwork, good sportsmanship, and unselfish play.

In addition to the Presidents Cup tournament, the U14 boys team will be competing in the prestigious USA Cup in Minneapolis in July against international competition. The annual competition draws more than 1,200 clubs from around the world and is only open to eligible top-ranked clubs.

Due to the high costs of the tournaments, Quad City Strikers has set up a GoFundMe for the teams and appreciates any and all donations that can be offered. The GoFundMe is here.

“This is just the beginning of a lot of positive developments for the club, as we’re always looking to provide the best experience for all our players and parents,” Pullias said. Strikers offers awesome coaching and a great soccer experience with the lowest and most affordable fees which is important during these tough financial times.”
