Latino and Latina youth in grades 9-12 are invited to attend a free, two-night computer science workshop at Black Hawk College.
Explorando Tecnologia will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 21 at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus in Moline.
Youths will choose from sessions on:
• Creating an Android application using Flash.
• Using Gamemaker to create a 2-D game.
• Enhancing your photos using Adobe Photoshop.
Explorando Tecnologia will conclude with a Family Night on Friday, Feb. 22. Students will show their families what they have created, take a campus tour and speak with college staff.
