Aquaman is on his way home.
Jason Momoa will return to his hometown Fareway and an Urbandale Hy-Vee on Oct. 16 to sign bottles of his new Meili Vodka.
The Hollywood leading man co-founded the premium spirit, which was handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, with friend Blaine Halvorson. Momoa’s business partner is the creator of MadeWorn and Junk Food Clothing.
The grocery store, at 1711 Sunset Drive in Norwalk, will host the signing from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Momoa also will meet customers and sign bottles at the Urbandale Hy-Vee, 8701 Douglas Ave., from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

Momoa’s most recent public visit to central Iowa came last year after the action star presented eight awards at the Academy Awards ceremony, prior to the live telecast in late March 2022. The Norwalk native dined at the Waveland Cafe, shopped at West End Architectural Salvage downtown and stopped by Tasty Tacos’ south side location.
