A community roundtable focused on Iowa’s maternal health crisis will take place Wednesday, July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Des Moines.
Planned Parenthood North Central States and Postpartum Support International-Iowa Chapter are organizing the two-hour conversation, which will bring together advocates and organizations whose work intersects with maternal health across Iowa.
The exact venue will not be released publicly. Registered participants will receive the location and additional event information after completing the registration process.

Eight organizations will take part in the conversation
The participating organizations include Women Help Women, Progress Iowa, Iowa Access Abortion Fund, Abortion in America, Project Motherhood, Willkie House, PSI Iowa and the Family Planning Council of Iowa.
Participants will be able to visit organization tables and hear firsthand experiences from groups working on maternal health, reproductive health, family support and access to care in Iowa.
The event will focus on the importance of maternal health initiatives in Iowa and the work participating organizations are doing to expand support and access to care.
