An electrical fire destroyed the family’s Ottumwa business on July 6, 2025. Rebuilding at the former location was not practical, and the family ultimately relocated the market to Des Moines.
The Hubbell Avenue store continues the family’s butchery business while serving customers across the Des Moines area.
