Colombians across the globe celebrate by displaying the national flag, dressing in the colors of the flag (yellow, blue and red), and enjoying traditional foods like ajiaco, arepas and bandeja paisa — a dish that typically includes rice, red beans, and a variety of meats,a fried egg, plantains and an arepa.
