10 years after Spaniards conquered the great Tenochtitlan the worship of the Lady of Guadalupe was born. This happening goes back to December of 1531, a year when according to catholic believers, the Lady of Guadalupe appeared on the hill of Tepeyac to an Indian whose name was Juan Diego. That year the miracle of roses happened. The so called miracle of roses left the impression of image of the Lady of Guadalupe on the cloth made of threads of maguey. This cloth was an object of uncountable studies to reveal the mystery of this miracle. Since that year of miracle this cloth started to become a symbol of adoration for a lot of people.
Most of the Mexican homes have the image of this Lady of Guadalupe. Some have it for adoration, other as a piece of art and there those who keep it because it looks good on the wall of their house. Nether less, are there anyone who did not ask for her help in the most difficult situations. In Mexico people say that even unbelievers believe in Lady of Guadalupe.

On top of it all, the Lady of Guadalupe was embroidered by hand with the finest threads and even cross stitched. The sculptures put the mark by recreating the image from quarry, mud, ceramics, and crystal, stone, silver and even gold with precious stones.
Actually, this image can be found anywhere made with common materials such as plastic, plaster, cement and resin. They are ironically made in China. In addition, the image can be seen imprinted on bags, t shirts, shirts and even tattooed on skin of some people. The indescribable beauty of this image gave inspiration to many artists and musicians and poets did not stay behind. There are numerous numbers of songs and poems about the image of the Lady of Guadalupe.
