Robert Cervantes is the 9th child of 11 born to Tom and Helen Cervantes.  He is married to the former Alesia Ayala for 27 years, and has two daughters and a granddaughter.  His oldest daughter, Amanda, will graduate from Black Hawk College in December.  Robert is currently serving his second term as alderman in the city of Silvis, IL and serves as a race director to the firecracker run in East Moline and as a volunteer for the VIVA Quad Cities and Quad Cities Cinco de Mayo Fiesta in East Moline.  He was chairmen of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Fiesta for five years, Union Steward for Local 150 for the last 10 years , and very proud to be Mexican – American !
