Agüero addressed reporters that for the time being, he wanted to stay at Atletico and that Aguirre should keep his job after the big victory. Atletico Madrid is now only three points from third place, behind Villareal. Also in Spain, Carlos Vela’s Osasuna tied Villareal 0-0.
âºIn Turkey, Antonio de Nigris played the whole match but did not score as his team Ankaraspot tied Gaiziantespor 1-1. In Germany, Aaron Galindo played the whole game for Eintracht Frankfurt but his team lost 4-1 to Hamburgo. Stuttgart’s game with Cottbuss was suspended due to bad weather.
âºIn golf, Lorena Ochoa won her first tournament of the season over Annika Sorenstam by 11 strokes in the HSBC’s Woman’s Champions Tournament in Signapore. Ochoa dominated throughout and won $300,000 for her work that weekend.
