Cinco fun things to do for Cinco de Mayo in the QC

Cinco de Mayo is almost here. Everyone in Quad Cities and surrounding areas are invited to have fun and enjoy different parties that will be going on over the weekend this year. Here is the list of some of the events we recommend for Cinco de Mayo weekend:

Thursday May 2, 2019, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta hosted by Rock Island County Democratic Party Hispanic Caucus

American Legion Post 227, 829 16th Ave, East Moline, IL

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs middleweight title unification bout exclusively on DAZN.

Cinco de Mayo celebration is not complete without boxing match and it will be big this year with the most anticipated fight of 2019 so far. Tune in to DAZN for Canelo vs. Jacobs.

Ganzo’s Cinco de Mayo 5K and Fiesta 2019

This celebration is going on its 7th year. There will be 5k run, traditional Mexican dancers, piñatas, food and drinks and everyone’s favorite jalapeño eating and grito contests. Live performances by The Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico, Michael Moncada & Whiskey High, Conjunto La Razón, Crooked Cactus.
