To celebrate this great event in the life of newly minted citizens, this year Quad Cities Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees (QCAIR) is proud to present a special Citizenship Dinner to celebrate all those who became citizens or who are in a process of becoming one.
During this event Ying Sa, co-founder of Immigrant Entrepreneur Summit (IES), will speak. Ying Sa is from China and she is an immigrant entrepreneur herself. She has two offices of CPA business, Community CPA. Being an immigrant entrepreneur she understands better than anybody how hard it is for immigrants to run a business in the United States. Besides the language, foreigners have to understand the customs, laws, finances and other important aspects of conducting business in the United States. That is why she works hard along with others in IES to help other immigrant entrepreneurs to run a successful business in United States. IES, where she is the Chair of the Board of Directors, is a non-profit organization and it helps immigrant entrepreneurs through training and support.
During this celebratory dinner 60 naturalized refugee and immigrant citizens will be celebrated. QCAIR wants to celebrate immigrants and unique perspectives they bring to the table. They understand that immigrants like Ying Sa are exactly those people who help to make United States stronger and even better place.
