Mark your calendars for January 17 of 2016 and plan to join other young Latinos from Iowa and DREAM Iowa for a special Latino Youth meeting. This event will start at 2:30 PM and it will take place at Grand View University, Plaza View Room inside the Student Center located at 1200 Grandview Ave., Des Moines, IA.

At this meeting young Latinos can meet other youth and together brainstorm issues that affect young Latinos today. Also, participants will have a chance to meet those young Latinos who are fighting for justice for all. During this meeting LULAC-Iowa will offer training for caucus. This is a great opportunity for young Latinos eligible to vote to learn how caucus works and be prepared for the Iowa Caucus that will be on February 1. Some presidential campaign representatives will be present at this event to answer all the questions that young Latinos might want to ask. In addition, young Latinos will be able to participate in something called frijol para el Presidente Poll (A Bean for a President).
All young Latinos are invited to attend this Latino Youth Meeting on January 17 at 2:30 PM at Grand View University, Plaza View Room inside the Student Center located at 1200 Grandview Ave. in Des Moines. Come over and get involved and be part of something great.
