Following an unforgettable performance last November at the Latin GRAMMYs, Alejandro Fernández joins forces once again with Christian Nodal to present his latest single, “Duele” (It Hurts).
Written and composed by Nodal, this anti-Valentine’s Day anthem describes the pain of lost love, unable to be forgotten, and is accompanied by a music video recorded in Guadalajara wherein the artists, wounded, drink away their sorrows at a bar. The video ends with Alejandro and Christian performing to an empty arena, alluding to the hope of the return to live concerts later this year.
More recently, Fernández was invited to perform as part of President Joe Biden’s Inaugural event, United We Serve: A Celebration of the National MLK Day of Service. A few days later, the singer joined the “We Are Home” immigration reform campaign to call for a more humane and fair immigration system.
