With alot of events being on pause from last year and events starting to come together this year. This weekend is not one to be missed.
URBANDALDE will be having a Carnival from July 2nd- 4th at Lions Park, entrance is free and there are discounted tickets available at Price chopper on Merle Hay Mall until July 1st.
Coupons will range from 25 coupons to 20 dollars or a dollar a coupon. It takes 3 coupons for small rides and 4 for other rides. There will also be food and a parade during the 4th of july. WEST DES MOINES-On July 3rd there will be an independence parade held at 4200 Mills Civic Parkway at 6:30p.m. Visit the website for more information and to see the map to be aware of the parade route.
DES MOINES-At the Capitol Building on 1007 E Grand Ave on July 4th at 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Music Under the Stars will be presenting Stars, Stripes & Sousa. Bring a chair, blanket, as this is a free summer concert not to be missed. Visit their website for more information!
QUAD CITIES-The Red,White and Boom event in downtown Davenport and Rock Island will be coming back on July 3, 2021. Activities start at 5:00pm in Rock Island, following in Davenport and at 9:30 p.m. There will be Food and soft drinks available as well! MUSCATINE– There will be a 4th of July celebration starting at 9am with the Childrens Parade at 2nd/Pine Street to Musser Public Library. Following the Parade at 9pm there will be fireworks over the Mighty Mississippi! To see the Full Schedule and events check out the link for more information.
STORM LAKE– The Star Spangled Spectacular will be hosting events for this upcoming 4th of July weekend. Starting July 3rd at Sunset Park at 5pm there will be food from ice cream sundaes to Funnel cakes; All while Events like the Kiddie Parade, Classic Car Show, Poppin’ Penelope, and Amazing Arthur are ongoing!

MARSHALLTOWN– This 4th of July at Central Iowa FairGrounds [1308 E Olive St, Marshalltown, IA 50158] the “Biggest Fireworks Show Marshalltown has ever seen” will start at 3:45 with the Prairie Creek Band. CORAVILLE– 4thFest will be kicking off on Friday July 2nd at 5pm with a carnival, along with cube artist Jack Dreyer where he will transform cubes into a Mural.
