Victoria “Vicky” M. Gonzalez, 79, of Moline, died May 14, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., in Moline. A rosary will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline.
Vicky was born May 21, 1946, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Calso and Francisca (Guerrero) Casando. She married Dario M. Gonzalez Sr. on Sept. 4, 1964, in Aledo, Illinois. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2018.
In her younger years, Vicky was a longtime volunteer with the West End Community Committee, where she helped organize fundraisers and fiestas. She was also an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline.
Vicky loved flowers, shopping, cooking and, above all, gatherings with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Annette (Jose), Ruben (Norma), Maria and Augie (Megan); grandchildren, Anna, Barbara, Angelica, Rebecca, Grasiela, Shane, Kristin, Alyssa, Elisabeth, Hunter, Austin, Gabriel, Nicole, Adrianna and Alexis; and great-grandchildren, Guillermo III, Adrian, Ialyanna, Giovanni, Liliana, Summer, Aiden, Ashton, Charlize, Carlos, Luciano, Kataleya, Kataviana, Emilio, Zurina, Nehemiah and Adrian Jr.
She is also survived by extended family members Juan and Jaime Guerrero, and Ramiro and Efrain Martinez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dario Sr.; her sons, Dario Jr. and Alex Sr.; her daughter, Rebecca; her granddaughter, Angelica “Cha Cha”; and her grandson, Alex Jr.
