Friday, August 14 will be a day that will permanently stay in the hearts and thoughts of many people. Without a doubt this day came too early for a young lady, who was just starting her life and who was carrying a new life inside of her. It was just an instant, but it deeply scarred family members and loved ones of Ashley Escobar of Davenport, who died at the car accident at the tender age of 18 years old and 7 months pregnant, she was accompanied at her death with her beautiful baby angel whom she had named Ayden Anthony.
The young lady was driving along I-28 highway on Friday morning when her vehicle crossed the road and crushed in front of the trailer somewhere close to Locust Street causing her death and that of her baby.
Ashley is a daughter of Juan and Anna Escobar.
“Ashley was a very loving person with many dreams and goals for her life,” says Marcia Daen McDonald-Montes de Oca, Ashley’s aunt, who also remembers Ashley as someone who deeply loved her family. “She loved her nephews and nieces and many people loved her as well. We will always miss her and we’ll never forget her. We love Ashley and Hayden. Rest in Peace.”
The whole community is sad after hearing the news of Ashley’s death and as soon as news spread many community member sent messages through social networks demonstrating their support to family members and loved ones of this young lady. The funeral service for Ashley and her baby Ayden Anthony will take place on Tuesday, August 18 at 4:30 PM in Van Hoe Funeral home located at 614 15th Avenue in East Moline, IL.
