Des Moines, Iowa – When Warren Morrow died unexpectedly at the age of 34, his friends wanted to find a way to continue his legacy of helping his community. Recalling his passion for live music, especially in Spanish, they decided that a concert would be a perfect way to honor him.

“This year’s concert will be the biggest one yet,” said Amner Martínez, one of the concert organizers. “There will be three bands that play unique music from all over Latin America.”

The night will begin with Estrofia, that plays popular songs from beloved Rock en Español bands like Maná, Caifanes and Los Amigos Invisibles, as well as original songs.

Brazilian 2wins will later take the stage with their eclectic mix of Samba and Funk rhythms played to popular Spanish, English and Portuguese hits. Parranderos Latin Combo will close the night with Salsa, Bachata and Caribbean beats.

It’s a $10 cover and the money raised will be donated to local charities and programs that help the local Latino community in the areas of education, financial Independence and leadership.

Since the first concert in 2012, the concert has raised a little over $10,000 and each dollar has been invested in the Latino community.
