The Targeted Small Business Program will be in Iowa City on October 12. This program is about loans and technical assistance for small businesses. It’s designed specifically to help women, minorities, and disabled people.
To qualify for this program of loans and technical support, you must be registered in the Targeted Small Business (TSB) in the Department of Inspections and Appeals. Your business needs to meet the following requirements:
• Net Sales of $4,000,000 or less per year
• Be located in the state of Iowa
• Be at least 51% owner of the business and be a part of a minority group, a woman, or be disabled.
The purpose of this reunion is introducing to Latino businesses in filling out the application to convert their business into certified business. Come and learn about this program and know as well what the benefits to a certified business are.
