Davenport, IA – One Human Family QCA is calling on the Quad Cities community to come together in defense of democracy. The Pro-Democracy Rally will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Golden Leaf Banquet Center (2902 E. Kimberly Rd., Davenport). This indoor gathering aims to unite individuals and organizations in response to threats against fundamental human rights and democratic values.
The event will feature an impressive lineup of speakers addressing critical issues facing our nation and local communities. Topics include immigration, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial justice, public education, free speech, women’s rights, and the increasing influence of oligarchy in politics.

The event will also feature live music by The Community Singers, reinforcing the spirit of unity and activism.
Join the Movement
Community members are encouraged to attend and stand in solidarity with those fighting for justice. Social justice organizations are invited to host information tables at the event to engage with attendees and share resources. Building a Lasting Coalition
In addition to the rally, One Human Family QCA is working to build a strong social justice coalition. A planning meeting for this initiative will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Community Church (2930 West Locust Street, Davenport). Representatives from over 21 organizations have already committed to attending. Dinner will be provided, and RSVPs are required for accurate planning.
