Even with the rain and a cloudy day that didn’t stop Muscatine residents from having fun at the Muscatine Fiesta 2008.

For three years straight the Muscatine community has celebrated its patriotic Mexican fiestas.  The Muscatine Cultural Committee was in charge of organizing this fiesta the last two years at Riverside Park.

Around 250 people were entertained by the Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico followed by Yo-Yo the clown who kept a smile on people of all ages.

The music vibe started with a local group called Los Cory who had everyone dancing with their lively tunes.  Reflejo 7, based out of the Quad Cities kept the great tunes going for those who were present.
“The rain was the cause of a small turnout but everyone who attended had a lot of fun” said Becky Garcia, one of the events organizers.
