Las Chingonas Entertainment and Falconwood Park partner to bring a new, annual fest to Bellevue – Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest – Saturday, July 13, featuring 15+ Taco Trucks, Live Music, and More!
Live Music, Lucha Libre, Omaha Circus Arts, Kid Zone and More at Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest, presented in partnership by Las Chingonas Entertainment and Falconwood Park, Saturday, July 13, in Bellevue.
Bellevue, NE – Producers of Midwest Chingona Fest, Las Chingonas Entertainment, and Falconwood Park, home of Outlandia Music Festival, come together and embark on a new, annual all ages festival!
Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest will consist of over 15 food trucks, tequila tastings, and live music featuring a variety of diverse local talent spanning across multiple genres and backgrounds. Mariachi, blues, indie rock, hip hop and more, guests will be entertained by the sounds of Banda Los Nobles, Mariachi Los Galleros, and Rosendo Robles, as well as Hector Anchondo, The Real Zebos, M34N STR33T, and DJ’s GriG and JPEG. One of Omaha’s favorite and award winning cover bands, Secret Weapon, will also perform.

The all day fest will run from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., and will include a multitude of activities for all ages. Lucha Libre, Mexican professional wrestling, will hold matches throughout the day; mechanical bull riding will be available from El Toro Rambo: stilt and fire performances by Omaha Circus Arts; live art installations by local artists; micheladas and additional local vendors will also be a part of the festivities. Plus, a truck show presented in collaboration with the creators of Midwest Truck Inferno!
In addition, an inflatable kid zone by Hines Glow Entertainment will be available from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.., Midwest Tacos and Tequila Fest is all ages until 7 p.m. The event becomes 18+ at 7 p.m. until it closes at 11 p.m., and at which time the inflatable zone will be open to the adults!
Now for the food! With over 15 food trucks, the festival will have tacos from local favorites such as Javi’s Tacos, Oso Mix, Tipico Helado, and many more. A taco eating contest will be held towards the beginning part of the day, prizes TBA.
Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest is a celebration of Latino culture and community, and we’re excited to invite people from all backgrounds to join us. This event is for everyone who loves good food, music, and company – and we can’t wait to share this event with our friends and neighbors.

Social media quickly took to the festival’s announcement, with an astonishing 19k plus RSVP’d on the event’s facebook page. The festival grounds capacity is 4,500, and we’re eager to see if this becomes a sold out event in its first year! We already have many food trucks and vendors waiting in the wings if we need to add more to accommodate a sold out crowd.
