As her father battled a rare form of cancer, Maria Rocha made a promise to herself: she would build wealth and change the course of her life so she could lift others along the way. The second youngest of ten children, Rocha knew hard work — and that drive helped her go from a four-time college dropout to one of Iowa’s top-producing real estate agents before the age of 40.

She was just three when her family moved to Iowa and into a mobile home. Years later, when her parents bought their first house just behind that trailer park, Rocha felt something shift. “It was such a great feeling to go from a trailer to nearly 1,300 square feet of space,” she said. That memory — and a moment watching Barbie in a suit on TV — planted the seed of a dream.
