The scholarship program is open to entering freshmen only residing in the Quad Cities area.
Applications are available from high school counselors in area high schools or can be obtained from the LULAC Scholarship Committee Chairman Henry Vargas – 323-4088 or Ernest Rodriguez – 323-5409.
The deadline for submitting the applications is March 31, 2009 with no exceptions.

Students can go to the LULAC Council #10 web site http://www.geocities.com/lulac10_2000/ where they can click on Scholarships and download an application
