The 5th annual Latino Legislative Day was at standing only capacity the morning of March 28 in room 15 at the state’s Capitol.
The day was created to give Latinos an opportunity to meet with their legislators, to develop relationships with elected leaders, and to address various concerns and legislation.
A handful of speakers provided those who attended with information about bills before the Iowa Legislature that affect the Latino community.
The participants were greeted with Coffee, Tamales and Mexican bread at this special event that keeps growing every year.
Congratulations to LULAC Council 307 in putting this event together every year.
