We are seeking for competent, diverse, professional, and dynamic Personal Care Assistants to join our team! The ideal fit for the role will be friendly, compassionate, and have a desire to assist the client with living their best possible quality of life by supporting basic functions. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate. 

We have about 10 spots available to hire now at $18/hr.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members receive their medication on time
• Support members who can’t move on their own
• Assist members with maintaining personal hygiene (bathing, brushing their hair and teeth, and applying skincare.) 
• Assist members with mobility support
• Assist members with cooking meals and eating according to the member’s restrictions
• Help members with their shopping and assist them with attending events or activities
• Do necessary housekeeping (cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands) to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements and skills (Some can be acquired after employment)

• Proven experience as a personal care assistant
• Committed to health & safety
• Able to do housework and cooking
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Strong ethics
• Physical stamina
• CPR certified
• Medication Manager 
• Pass background check
