EAST MOLINE, Ill. — Harmony Fest will return to East Moline on Saturday, Sept. 19, bringing music, dance, food, art and family activities together for a multicultural celebration of the communities that make up the Quad Cities.
QCAIR and East Moline Main Street will present the 2026 festival from 2 to 8 p.m. in East Moline.
Harmony Fest brings together cultures and traditions represented across the Quad Cities. This year’s event will include performances, art, vendors and community organizations.
One of the festival’s signature displays will feature flags representing 40 countries. Organizers will carry the flags into the festival and present them during the celebration.
Music, dance, art and vendors will fill the East Moline festival
Music and dance performances will fill the six-hour festival alongside art, food and family activities.
Local vendors will also take part. In addition, community organizations will host resource tables where residents can learn about services available across the Quad Cities.
East Moline Main Street includes Harmony Fest among its 2026 downtown events and is partnering with QCAIR on this year’s celebration.
Harmony Fest returns after the 2025 event did not take place
The Sept. 19 event marks Harmony Fest’s return to East Moline after the planned 2025 festival did not take place.
Hola America reported last year that Harmony Fest was among the Quad Cities cultural events affected in 2025. The festival is now confirmed for 2026.
Harmony Fest took place in East Moline in 2024 with food, performances, art and cultural activities. That year’s celebration also featured flags representing more than 40 countries.
QCAIR has served Quad Cities families since 2012
QCAIR has worked with immigrants, refugees and their families across the Quad Cities since 2012.
The nonprofit helps families connect with public benefits, school enrollment, citizenship resources and other local services.
At Harmony Fest, participating groups can share their music, dance, art and traditions with visitors from across the Quad Cities.
