September is Fiesta month. Hispanic culture will be celebrated everywhere in the United States and of course, the Quad Cities and surrounding areas will be having a few traditional celebrations as well. Get your family and friends together and come out to celebrate with delicious food, beautiful music, amazing performances and of course everyone’s favorite parades. To make it easier for you to plan your fun day we took time to compile a small list of celebrations of Hispanic culture in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. Choose a couple or go to them all.

66th annual Fiesta Day Parade. The Parade will start in Rock Fall at 1PM and it will end in Sterling. It will travel north of First Avenue in Rock Falls, cross the bridge to Sterling. After crossing the bridge to Sterling, it will travel north on Locust St to 4th St and it will come to an end at Grandon Civic Center in Sterling. Come on down to 15th Avenue in East Moline to celebrate the Mexican Independence day with the 10th annual Parade and Fiesta.   

Parade starts at Noon and Fiesta is from 2-9pm at the TBK Bank parking lot

Music by Conjunto La Razón, Crooked Cactus, DJ Guerrero and performances by the Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico and the Glenview Mariachi Band

Celebration of Hispanic Heritage month. The parade will start on 3rd Street and 15th Avenue.

Rock Falls, IL Riverfront – RB&W District Park

7th annual Taste of Fiesta. Celebration of Hispanic heritage month with food, music, art, dance and culture, Kermes, businesses and resource booths. Come to enjoy folkloric dancers, local musicians and artists, activities for kids. Free admission.
