Job seekers are invited to grab their resumes and head to Black Hawk College March 11 or March 25 to attend one of two 2009 Job Fairs hosted by the college.
At both events, job seekers can get help with resumes and interview skills and visit with dozens of potential employers from around the region. Admission to both events is free.
On Wednesday, March 11, the 2009 Job Fair at the college’s East Campus will be from 5-7 p.m. in Building A. The Black Hawk College – East Campus is located five miles south of Kewanee at 26230 Black Hawk Road, Galva.
On Wednesday, March 25, the 2009 Job Fair at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the upper gym in Building 3, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. Participants should park in Lot 3 on the south side of 34th Avenue. Overflow parking will be available in Lot 4 north of 34th Avenue.
Job seekers also are invited to attend a free resume-writing workshop to prepare for the March 25 Job Fair. Simply stop by Building 1, Room 101B, at the Quad-Cities Campus any time between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 or Thursday, March 19.
