Effective immediately, the Good Samaritan Free Clinic has relocated to 602 35th Avenue in Moline.  The clinic previously was located at Faith Lutheran Church, 1611 41 Street, Moline.

“We are so grateful to The Sedona Group for donating the space for the clinic,” says Dr. Kerry Humes, Good Samaritan Free Clinic Medical Director.  “The new location provides us expanded space and will streamline the medical care we are able to provide our patients.”

The Good Samaritan Free Clinic offers free primary medical care, including limited lab and x-ray, to patients age 16 to 64 who are working but have no medical insurance.  Patients are seen by volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

The clinic has grown significantly since opening in May, 2007, with more than 600 patient visits.  Office hours are Monday evenings, 5 to 9 p.m., and Thursday mornings, 8 a.m. to noon. Patients are seen by appointment only.  The clinic’s telephone number is (309)797-4688.

The mission of Good Samaritan Free Clinic is to provide medical office visits for individuals who do not have medical insurance and do not qualify for state or federal medical assistance programs.  Good Samaritan seeks to help the “working poor” of the community, those who continually fall through the cracks of the current healthcare system.
