The greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 5th year anniversary at their annual Gala last January 18 at the Quad Cities Waterfront Center in Bettendorf Iowa.
 More than 350 people from all over the Quad Cites, Chicago, Des Moines Iowa City and Nebraska battled the weather to make it to the Gala.Â
The evening was a celebration of the organization’s accomplishments, members, and supporters. The event featured entertainment, dinner, business awards, a silent auction, and networking with colleagues, clients, business leaders, community partners and GQCHCC members.
The keynote speaker was Ralph de la Vega the CEO for AT&T Mobility. Under his leadership, AT&T Mobility has become one of the world’s leading smartphone and mobile Internet providers Mr. de la Vega has received numerous leadership awards, including inductions into the Atlanta Business Hall of Fame and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Alumni Hall of Fame. He was featured in the HBO documentary, The Latino List, which profiles influential Latinos in America.Â
