For the last few years now Mexican nationals, from Quad Cities their friends and families gather in East Moline to
celebrate Mexican Independence Day. For Mexican nationals this is one of the most important celebrations of the year. Here in the United States the celebration of Mexican Independence Day is one of the great ways to preserve one of their wonderful traditions.
This year everyone is invited to celebrate Mexican Independence Day that will be on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It will start with the parade and followed by the festival. After the parade there will be fun activities, traditional Mexican dances and music and of course delicious Mexican food at the parking lot of The National Bank located on 15th Avenue in East Moline.
