By recording “El Perdedor”, Enrique achieved one of his career dreams, by having Marco Antonio Solis agree to record the song, without making any changes to it. “I’ve always been a fan of Marco and his songs… he actually let me record one of his songs (Invéntame) for my first album and the fact that he now agreed to sing a song written by me, is a great honor.”


“El Perdedor” was written by Enrique Iglesias and Descemer Bueno, writing duet responsible for penning the hit “Cuando Me Enamoro”, a song that reached #1 at radio and digital download in more than 12 countries, selling a whopping 1 million digital tracks worldwide.
