Holidays are around the corner. The radio has started to play the best holiday hits of the past and present, the stores are putting up Christmas displays, and the weather is getting colder with every day. Many start thinking about what presents to get this year for their friends and family members. Even if you hate shopping, don’t pass by the opportunity to do a little shopping while having fun at Moline Holiday Hop on November 9, 2018, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Downtown Moline.

Many local businesses will participate in this event. Local stores, restaurants and even bars will be welcoming customers in downtown Moline. The trolley will be running for free from 4 PM to 7 PM, but most of the business will remain open later.

“This is the second year for Holiday Hop, so it is fairly new event,” Adam Guthrie, Moline Centre Executive Director, said. “we feel this is an important event to showcase the different small business downtown Moline.”

Besides shopping and eating, there will be other activities for the whole families to enjoy. River House Landing will have an ice sculptor doing amazing ice sculptures. Also, kids can meet Anna and Elsa at Shameless Chocoholic and get a chance to win tickets to Disney on Ice. Visitor will “Get Grinched” at Lagomarcino’s, one of the most famous local stores of the Quad Cities. Santa will be waiting for kiddies at the Black Box Theater and there will be crafts at the Boys and Girls Club. Floreciente Neighborhood businesses will also be present thanks to Global Communities.

Stop by to support local Floreciente businesses, including Don Chuy’s Enchiladas, Carmen’s Jewelry, Chocofresas Ice Cream Shop, Boost Mobile and Nueva Vida Health Products they will be at Global Communities headquarters in downtown Moline.
