Des Moines, Iowa – Des Moines Performing Arts (DMPA) has launched DMPA Conversations, a short-form podcast perfect for rides to or from the theater. Each episode, connected to a show in the Willis Broadway Series, will feature DMPA President and CEO, Jeff Chelesvig, in conversation with a Broadway leader who makes these incredible shows possible.
The first episode is a conversation with The Wiz director, Schele Williams, discussing her personal connections to the iconic musical, the benefits of going on tour before opening on Broadway, and what she hopes audiences take away from The Wiz.

The Wiz runs December 12 – 17 at the Des Moines Civic Center. Show times and ticket information can be found here.
