Bad Bunny in the role of Marvel Superhero El Muerto? Yes, Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio better known to the public as Bad Bunny has been casted as lead for the new Superhero movie from Sony Pictures.
It is expected that El Muerto will be out on January 12, 2024. Bad Bunny will be the first Latino actor to headline a live action Marvel movie.
“To bring El Muerto to life is just incredible .. so exciting,” the artist said.
In the comics El Muerto, also known as Juan-Carlos Estrada Sanchez, is a wrestler who gets his powers handed down to him from his ancestors in the form of a mask. According to Marvel, the mask gives this character superhuman strength. In past comic narratives El Muerto came out to the ring with the one and only Spiderman.
They say that in the new movie Bad Bunny will play an antihero who is on the verge of receiving his father’s powers.
El Muerto is set to hit theaters January 12, 2024.
