The 2026 Hinterland Music Festival lineup is here, and it features nearly 30 artists spanning multiple genres.
The multiple-day festival, which has typically taken place late July and early August in St. Charles, Iowa, since 2015, features live music, arts and crafts, and camping.
Hinterland has brought some of the music industry’s most popular artists to central Iowa, including Tyler, The Creator, Chappell Roan and Lana Del Rey.
With the festival expanding from three to four days in 2026, it opens the door for additional artists to join the lineup.
What is the Hinterland lineup for headliners?
This year, the lineup includes pop group KATSEYE, singer Lorde, folk rock band Mumford & Sons and R&B singer songwriter Kali Uchis as the headliners.

Now starting on a Thursday instead of Friday, the 2026 Hinterland Music Festival will begin July 30 and conclude Sunday, Aug. 2.
How much are Hinterland tickets?
A four-day ticket to the festival starts at $365 for general admission access and goes as high as $1,520 for a VIP+ ticket, which includes a full-service bar, premium seating, an air-conditioned bathroom and more.
Prices will increase as the festival gets closer.

Is there a Hinterland presale?
A presale will be available starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20. Fans can sign up to get a code at hinterlandiowa.com. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21.
