Ankeny, IA – The Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit (IES) is thrilled to announce its 17th Annual National Summit, set to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the FFA Enrichment Center, 1055 SW Prairie Trail Parkway, Ankeny, IA. This highly anticipated event will bring together over 800 attendees from 50 different countries of origin to celebrate and support the vibrant community of immigrant entrepreneurs.
The IES Summit is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where businesspeople of diverse backgrounds can share their experiences, learn from one another, and celebrate the significant contributions of immigrant entrepreneurs to the economy and society. This year’s summit promises a dynamic lineup of activities, including:
- 21 Seminars: Multiple tracks of workshops designed to provide practical knowledge and skills that attendees can apply directly to their businesses. Topics range from scaling small businesses to understanding visa options for entrepreneurs.
- Exhibitor Hall: A bustling space for networking and knowledge exchange, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with industry experts and fellow entrepreneurs.
- Luncheon Awards: A celebration of Immigrant success stories that serve as role models within the community. These award winners inspire others through their success and dedication.
- Business Pitch Competition: The “Underwriting Exposed” competition will feature small, immigrant-owned businesses pitching their ideas for a chance to win a $5,000 grant, showcasing the thought processes of loan underwriters.
