Tejano singer Isabel Marie Sanchez, who headlined VIVA Quad Cities in Davenport, Iowa, in 2019, performed at the Denver Broncos’ ¡Vamos Broncos! halftime show on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, at Empower Field at Mile High.
The celebration took place during Denver’s home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos won 28–24 after overcoming an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Four-song set featured Selena and Mexican classics
Sanchez performed alongside Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra and Lisa Trujillo Dance Folklórico. Her four-song set included Selena’s “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “Cielito Lindo,” “Volver, Volver” and “Viva Mexico.”
She wore a custom charra outfit incorporating Broncos colors. The stadium celebration also featured Día de los Muertos-inspired decorations, including colorful sugar skull designs.
VIVA Quad Cities brought Sanchez to Davenport in 2019
On Sept. 7, 2019, Sanchez was the featured headliner of the 26th annual VIVA Quad Cities celebration at LeClaire Park in Davenport. The festival featured Latino music and dance, food and merchandise vendors, and children’s activities.
The entertainment lineup included Grupo Innstinto, Glenview Mariachi, QC Ballet Folklorico and Danza Guadalupana de West Liberty, along with other performers from the region.
Sanchez previously performed for the Broncos in 2023
Sanchez also sang the U.S. national anthem before the Broncos’ Oct. 22, 2023, game against the Green Bay Packers at Empower Field at Mile High. That pregame appearance came three years before her return for the ¡Vamos Broncos! halftime program.
Following the Nov. 1 performance, Sanchez thanked the Broncos for inviting her back and said she had “a wonderful time celebrating our culture and community with everyone.”
