Images from the first ever Iowa Latino Day on the Hill. The Iowa Commission of Latino Affairs held their first Latino Day on the Hill this past Thursday January 25 to great success.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this event is to connect Latinos to Government, by modeling Civic Engagement activities hands on as they hear and interact with the Governor, legislators and non-profit organizations at the Capitol. Attendees included Governor Kim Reynolds, legislators and elected officials, Latino business, students, educators and community advocates.<\/p>
