\nRomney said about Hispanic-Americans, \u201cIf you say, name people who are hardworking, seek education, love God, love their families
\n and value freedom, it\u2019s Hispanic Americans.\u201d
\nRomney said that Republicans should not give the Latino vote to the Democrats. President George W. Bush\u2019s victory in 2000 and 2004 is attributed to the large number of Hispanic voters who voted for him.
\nAccording to his website, www.mittromney.com, the candidate said, \u201cImmigration has been an important part of our nation\u2019s success. The current system, however, puts up a concrete wall to the best and brightest, yet those without skill or education are able to walk across the border.\u201d
\n\u201cWe must reform the current immigration laws so we can secure our borders, implement a mandatory biometrically enabled, tamper proof documentation and employment verification system, and increase legal immigration into America.\u201d<\/p>\n
