La falta de personal, los costos de operaci\u00f3n y las condiciones de inscripci\u00f3n pueden limitar la cantidad de ni\u00f1os que reciben, incluso cuando existe demanda de espacios.<\/p>\n<p>Estas dificultades tambi\u00e9n pueden afectar a los empleadores mediante ausencias, problemas para cubrir vacantes o la salida de trabajadores que no cuentan con un servicio de cuidado infantil estable.<\/p>\n<p>Angie Kendall, directora ejecutiva de Hand in Hand, explic\u00f3 que el estudio busca identificar necesidades espec\u00edficas y determinar d\u00f3nde podr\u00edan aprovecharse mejor futuras inversiones en servicios de cuidado infantil.<\/p>\n<p>Las organizaciones participantes no han establecido una soluci\u00f3n \u00fanica. Los resultados servir\u00e1n para orientar conversaciones entre empresas, organizaciones comunitarias, entidades que aportan financiamiento y autoridades responsables de tomar decisiones.<\/p>\n<h2>El plazo especial para grandes empleadores termin\u00f3 el 26 de octubre<\/h2>\n<p>Las empresas con <strong>75 empleados o m\u00e1s<\/strong> tuvieron la oportunidad de solicitar un enlace exclusivo para consultar las necesidades de cuidado infantil de su personal.<\/p>\n<p>Este mecanismo permite elaborar un informe personalizado y gratuito sobre las respuestas de sus trabajadores, siempre que participen al menos <strong>10 empleados<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El plazo para solicitar ese enlace exclusivo termin\u00f3 el <strong>lunes 26 de octubre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la encuesta general para empleadores contin\u00faa abierta hasta el 6 de noviembre. Las empresas todav\u00eda pueden aportar informaci\u00f3n sobre las consecuencias del cuidado infantil en la contrataci\u00f3n, la asistencia y la retenci\u00f3n de trabajadores.<\/p>\n<h2>Los primeros resultados del estudio se esperan en diciembre<\/h2>\n<p>Las cuatro organizaciones prev\u00e9n presentar los primeros resultados en <strong>diciembre de 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 identificar necesidades locales y apoyar decisiones relacionadas con la planificaci\u00f3n comunitaria, posibles inversiones y mejoras en los servicios de cuidado infantil.<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados p\u00fablicos se presentar\u00e1n de manera agrupada para proteger la identidad de los participantes. Participar no representa una solicitud de subsidio, una inscripci\u00f3n a un centro de cuidado infantil ni una reserva de espacio para un menor.<\/p>\n<p>Los programas estatales de apoyo funcionan por separado.
